AGENDA ITEM NO. 3

Approval of Present Committee

Shri R. Palaniswamy the Chairperson explained about the Removal of Mr. J. Edward from the President Post of our Society (Sangham). In the 6th Managing Committee Meeting which  Mr. Edward was present

6th Managing Committee Meeting was held on 12.03.2017 Sunday under the Chairmanship of                                     Shri S. Arunachalam, Working  President.

Mr. R.Palaniswamy, Vice President   also informed the committee that he could not get the support of Mr. Edward for the above works and he is not ready to sign till the missing blank forms are not tally.  Mr. Palaniswamy told him and requested him repeatedly many times to come and check & tally the receipts with the membership filled forms and to sign. His only answer was if it is not possible to you we will keep Accountant which is not required at that time.   Mr. Edward repeating the same matters about the missing blank forms after so many explanation given by our committee members in previous meeting also (ie.  Forms are not missing but not returned the filled forms by the members to committee and Mr. Edward  himself thrown the blanks forms inside the doors of somebody and that is not the duty of Accountant if we appoint anybody as Mr. Edward suggested.  When Mr. Edward was the President he is total responsible for the missing blanks forms also.  He is thinking that president’s duty means only to command not to support and involve in the works of committee. In the Managing Committee Meeting also he argued with the committee members that asking the caste of members is not wrong.

Finally the Committee members of the following 9 members were accepted and signed to remove

Mr. J. Edward from the post of President for the reasons with immediate effect.

  • Trying to split the present committee members and majority of the committee members does not like his behavior and his activities which is against to our Society and
  • Edward has been informed about his attitude against the society and his caste wise feeling which is harmful to the Badlapur Tamils Welfare Society.
  • Edward while he is in the post of President asking the caste of members which is unlawful & full against of main aims and principle of our society.
